You know?  One of the hardest things to do in life is not letting things get to us.  I think this is especially true when we’re younger or more sensitive.  But no matter our age, it’s easy to take everything to heart. Maybe someone says something off-putting to us.  It might hurt our feelings.  Or

They are present in every part of our lives.  Consequences. I hate to use the old metaphor of the ripple, but it is the word that describes things best when regarding consequences.Every single action, big or small, casts a ripple.  No matter what that action is, a consequence will follow.
