I know we all know it. But I’ll say it again.
I want the United States of America to return to its dignity and to its integrity.
July 4, our Independence Day, is one of the most significant national holidays in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, when the thirteen American colonies declared their independence from Great Britain.
Our Freedom.
The day represents the founding of the nation and the enduring principles of liberty, self-government, and individual rights that continue to shape American democracy.
Across the country, Independence Day is observed in many ways. Like through community gatherings, parades, concerts, patriotic ceremonies, fireworks displays and on and on. More than anything, this is an opportunity for Americans to reflect on the nation’s history, honor the sacrifices of those who helped secure its freedoms, and recognize the responsibilities that accompany citizenship.
July 4 remains a powerful symbol of national unity, freedom, and the values upon which the United States was established.
