Harmony. It’s more than just singing.

Harmony.  It is the good quality of forming a pleasing and consistent whole.  Balance, symmetry, congruity.

When we have this balance in our lives, things are good.
Harmonious.

This is a life where the pieces fit together.  Not necessarily perfectly, but peacefully.

It’s about balance.  Moderation. Evenness.  It is finding that balance between work and rest and play.  Between giving and receiving.  It is finding the way between solitude and connection.

When there’s harmony in our lives, there’s a sense of flow.  Our actions align with our values.  And hopefully, those are good values.  When we are in a harmonious space, our thoughts support our well-being.

It doesn’t mean life is always calm or easy. That’s impossible.  But it does mean that we are not constantly fighting ourselves or our surroundings. It creates a kind of inner steadiness that helps you move through life with grace.

It is a foundation for true contentment.

The main thing to remember?  We can all have that good, good dream of harmony, with the world around us and with each other.  It is worth dreaming of, and worth tending to.
