This is a photo of me when I was about 16 years old.
A baby bird had fallen from a nest, and I was trying to nurse it back to health. All my life I’ve made a cause for animals. My first mouse rescue happened when I was six or seven. And now, all this time later, I feel more strongly about this than ever before.
