The most haunted hotels in America. Good night.

Some people avoid ghosts like the plague. Others pack their bags and go looking for them.
You see, about 40% of American adults say they believe in ghosts.

I’m not sure. We just don’t know for certain, as the Universe is incredibly wide and long.

But many people claim that ghosts exist in many places. From the spooky highways to those haunted libraries. Maybe another thing to consider is an overnight stay somewhere truly restless. Like in a haunted hotel.

According to Hotels.com, these are America’s 13 most haunted hotels. They rank them from the most ghost-friendly to the downright chilling.

There have been many guest reviews that tell the stories. They have experienced many things, including phantom footsteps, sudden chills, and all those other things that go bump in the night. Some people even claimed they were shoved out of bed.

At the top of the list is The Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, where visitors swear they’ve seen a little girl ghost who loves to play pranks. Also in New Orleans, Hotel Provincial takes second place. Once a military hospital, it’s said to be haunted by Confederate soldiers—and one particularly pushy spirit.

So here they are, just in case you are planning a sleepless trip.
