Where is the best place to drive? Vvvvrrrrooooom.

Some cities are better for drivers than others. And according to Allstate, these cities have the best the the worst drivers in the United States.

That’s right. Recently, that good old auto insurance company called Allstate used its own claims data to assess which U.S. cities rank among the most and leastsafe when it comes to driving.

The information was gathered from cases in 2022 and 2023 and focused on the 200 most populous cities in the country. So basically, the fewer the claims that were filed, the better the city was for driving. Safety-wise.

Brownsville, Texas. Who knew. Their population stands at 185,000. There is a nationwide trend that people have a collision of some sort every 10 years on average. But the typical drivers in Brownsville go 14 years between mishaps.

I think it is odd that the worst city is Boston, but the safest state is Massachusetts. Plus, MA had three cities in the worst top ten.

At any rate, we Americans need our driving. And it can be dangerous.
So stay alert. Don’t speed, like me. And avoid driving in hazardous conditions. Or so they say.
