When the bread goes dry.

Photos come pouring in from all across the nation from the aisles of grocery stores. Most notably, the empty aisles.

Specifically. Bread.
They continue to be empty.

I can only then surmise that the next three things have either occurred or are in the process.

1. People, in the face of fear, make sandwiches. Lots of sandwiches. It is the little known “Sandwich Coping Mechanism” at work. We are in the midst of a tragic Pandemic, hence the ham on rye.

2. Freezers across America are packed full of now, frozen bread, waiting for its big day to come.

3. There is a lot of bread on kitchen counters everywhere, going stale.

I am familiar with stale.
As lately, my blog has been completely flat.

Just like old bread, it’s been really crummy.

I’ll be back when my shelves fill up.
Until then, I hope all your kneads are getting met.
