Project 2025 By Linda Stowe

Yesterday, I heard a pundit say that Project 2025 was recently trending in Google searches, topping even Taylor Swift. If you have looked at Google search trends, you will know that it’s like watching the stock market. It changes constantly but trends do indicate public interest in a topic or person.

The pundit’s comments seemed to imply that droves of Americans were reading up on the infamous Project 2025. That’s not quite the truth. Or anywhere near it. What this trend means is that increasing numbers of Americans are hearing about Project 2025 and are going to check it out.

That’s good news but there is a caveat. Project 2025 is daunting. It’s long and dense and framed in such a way as to persuade readers to the value of making significant changes to their way of life. Project 2025 is like the Bible or even the dictionary. Everybody’s heard of it but very few have read it. Project 2025 may turn out to be the fine print on your insurance policy and once you sign up, you may not like what you get.

Polly here. Well. I feel like we are really in for it with Donald Trump as our next president. But I don’t think he can be beat this time around. Sadly.
And I’m not sure what can be done to stop this “project” from taking place, short of defeating him fairly in the election. Of course, if, by the slimmest chances that he is defeated, Trump with never accept this, and we’ll have January 6th all over again.

If it sounds like I’m being Negative Nelly, I say this. The outlook is bleak. I’ve called the last two elections he’s been involved with, including the events around them. I live in Preble County and anyone who watches Preble County on FB, knows the pulse of the rest of rural and religious America.

In the mean time, I’ll do whatever I can to try and prove myself wrong. I’ll help get out the vote and be vocal wherever I can. We all need to vote for freedom and equality. Trump is neither.
