Learn again, and again, and again.
From the day we are born onward. We start learning right out of the box. It is as plain as the noses on our faces. But first, we must learn what a nose is. And a face.
It becomes an ongoing chain of events, one after the other, with more information building on the next.
Learning can be good, and happy, and amazing.
Learning can be hard, and cold, and painful.
Such a thing.
It might leave a golden star on our foreheads or a stain on our hearts.
Winston Churchill said: “I am always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught.” Oh, how true this is.
But. There is a lot out there to learn. We barely know any of it.
I mean, there are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth. It is true. The estimates suggest there are about 70 billion trillion stars in the Universe (This has 21 zeros following the 70). Unimaginable. But here on Earth, the number of grains of sand on all of Earth’s beaches is estimated to be around 7.5 sextillions (75 followed by 20 zeros). Also unimaginable.
But back to Earth. There is a lot to learn here. And we will never know all of it. Not even a smidgeon. But our little smidgeon is golden. And we should cherish every learning moment in our lives.
So we go on. Taking it all in. And when we learn? We grow.
And so we go on.
