I like music.
But the kind of music I like might be quite different from the kind of music you like. And both might be different from what is considered “popular.”
The measure of this is subjective.
Subjective.
Here in America, we’ve created a contest to tell us what the “best” music is, each year. The contest is called the Grammy’s (held in February). They are considered prestigious awards presented annually by The Recording Academy. They were formed to honor outstanding achievements in the music industry. You know how it goes. The awards cover various categories, including genres such as pop, rock, classical, jazz, country, rap, and more.
But isn’t it all subjective, really?

I won’t get on a little tirade about how I think these awards shows are all hype. Money-driven. No. I won’t do it.
Instead, I’ll give you a list (alphabetical) of 35 artists who have never won a Grammy. Ever. For anything.
I should add, I don’t think a lot of them deserved a Grammy. But it’s all, well, you know, subjective.
I bet Martha Stewart is up in arms about her man Snoop. (See below)
